mangolicious

Today was another lazy day in the Keys...this time by the pool.  The high today was only about 68, with the wind still out of the north, so up to the pool we went.  There's so much vegetation, and fencing surrounding the pool area, that it was plenty warm out of the wind.  I think I got a little well done, actually.
The bougenvilla is in full bloom around the pool...beautiful.
Played a mean game of dominoes by the pool...Paps won for a change!
Michael treated us to dinner at Sunset Grill.
...and we watched a gorgeous sunset (but no green flash tonight)
Those who know me well know how much I love all things mango...a mango
margarita, appetizer of fried mahi mahi with mango chili sauce, coconut
shrimp and grilled jerk mahi mahi with mango salsa, and a mango passion
fruit cheesecake for my dessert- best meal in the keys. ever.
AAAAARGH!!!
A Christmas tree- Keys style!
Introduced the kids to geocaching- FOUND IT!
Erica had the eye for it- Michael only managed to get hurt.
It was a beautiful moonlit night at Key Colony Beach.
Erica found another one...Michael got a thorn in his foot :(
This one was a trek, through a swampy area that we couldn't
find last year.  Erica found it, of course. Donnie merely
whapped his head, and Michael got scratched up in the sticks.
The boys were clearly not dressed for the occasion...no long pants
hiking boots, gloves, helmets, knee pads, bug spray, neosporin,
bandaids, canteens, flashlights, mouthguards, safety glasses, etc.
and I found the last one of the night, tah-dah :)
