Mission accomplished!

AIS was 8:45am- we had reservations to make...
We had a date with Crush at the Turtle Hospital!
This place is really interesting...I can see why it got 4.5 stars from Trip Advisor.  We learned all kinds of  cool stuff :)
Next stop was La Nina, our favorite Cuban restaurant.  I needed to get fortified with some Cuban coffee and some guava and cream cheese pastellos.  We went back to the boat to pick up Donnie, grabbed a few things for a beach picnic, went BACK to La Nina for Cubano sandwiches, and then headed for Big Pine Key.  We didn't see key deer, or the alligators at the Blue Hole, or had pizza at No Name Pub- we had other things to accomplish...

the Flea Market!
You never know what you might find that you can't live without!
maybe some sponges, harvested in the Keys...

or a whicker motorcycle that you're just dying to ride to Key West where you'll fit right in!
Actually, I scored on some fresh produce, as always.  Ellie got a ring for herself and one for her sister, Emily, and Cap'n came home with a bag of all sorts of useful odds and ends that he always manages to find.  After our one hour power shopping trip, it was time to head to the beach.  We had two hours to spare before Mike and Susan were to arrive.

Bahia State Park is one of our favorites, and Ellie is missing the annual Booze Cruise on Biddi and the Beast to BSP this coming Tuesday.  So, we had our Cubanos and picnic on the beach today.
Naturally, the warmest day of the week was her last day- dang it.

Any of our sailing friends from Muncie, IN- did Doc T. sell Jack B?!  This looked just like her in the harbor!
We hiked to the top of the bridge...
...and looked out over the harbor.
Such a gorgeous view...
"If this isn't paradise, then I don't know what is", said Ellen.
We got back in time for Ellie to enjoy the last of the sun by the pool, while Cap'n and I shared a welcome drink with Mike and Susan :)
We then left for a dink ride to see the sunset and to have some BBQ dinner at Porky's.
never boring, always beautiful.
Cheers and G'nite, y'all!  AIS is 2:00am to take Elle to the Ft. Lauderdale airport. By golly, we did everything on our list today- mission accomplished!
