Toes, clothes, and dominoes

And that, pretty much sums the day up!  Mom, Em, and I went for pedis and a bit of girlie shopping while Cap'n continued to address the confounding problem with our oil pressure and engine temperature gauges.  They have not worked since Bessie has been reinstalled.  Donnie purchased two new gauges, and wired the oil pressure one, but it also did not work.  Lots of head scratchin' goin' on, to say the least.  He's wired, tested, rewired, got frustrated, and went to the pool with the rest of us.  I don't blame him.
The gang all gathered for some chickenfoot, sunshine, the pool and hot tub.  It was a beautiful, sunny 75 degrees today.

In the words of Emily, "Chickenfoot dominoes, the game of champions and senior citizens everywhere."

It's a good thing we all love each other, otherwise people would think we take ourselves and our chickenfoot way too seriously!

Our dance card for the rest of the week is pretty well getting filled up....Tomorrow Cap'n, Emily, Willis and I are taking our first shakedown cruise with the new Bessie over to Islamorada.  Matt and Karie are sailing down from Pompano Beach, and we are meeting up with them there, and then buddy boating back together to Banana Bay on Wednesday.  On Thursday, all of the family and six degrees of separation are going on Biddi and the Beast for a cruise to Burdine's, around Boot Key, the reef, and back home again.  On Friday, we may go for a snorkel at the reef, (weather and wind permitting) and then at 5:30pm, we're all meeting up at Sunset Grille for dinner and to listen to The Doerfels perform from 6-9pm.  On Saturday we will go to the reef during the day if we get blown out the day before, and then the girls are all going to the movies to see Silver Linings Playbook (a rom-com the boys have no interest in!)  Sunday we are planning a beach party BBQ since it is Emily's last day, and then we are taking everyone for a sunset cruise on Marquesa.  Monday, it's back to Miami International Airport.  Whew!  After all of that, this momma is gonna need a nap.

Willis already has a jump start on me in the nap department. Mr. Ridiculous is under the covers, snoring mind you, as I finish this up.  We'll see how he does on this shakedown cruise tomorrow.  He has a hate/hate relationship with Bessie.
G'nite, y'all!
