six hour tour

AIS was 10am this morning, for a cruise on Biddi and the Beast to Burdine's.  Biddi was serving Bloody Mary's before we untied from the dock!  Nancy and Lucille, got in on that deal :)  Nancy's looking like a two-fisted drinker here, lol.
Hooray for sunshine and beautiful blue skies and water :)
And hooray for dolphins that came and played in the bow wake!  So cool :)
They bid us goodbye as we approached the Seven Mile Bridge.
Well, hello, momma :)
Cap'n had to wear his new Tshirt he got in the mail yesterday from his buddy Steve.  It says, "Mariner's Rule:  Never judge a Captain by the size of his dinghy."  Awesome.
No trip to Burdine's is complete without a deep fried key lime pie.  MORE than awesome.
Saw this little fellow on the piling at the dock.
What a group...Danny, Cindy, Karen, Esther, Karyn, Emily, Helen, Ken, Ron, Nancy, Biddi, Sally Ken, Lucille, and Wayne.  We were missing Fran, who had to work, and Mamaw and Paps who had a dr.'s appt.  Fun times on the Beast.
Boot Key Harbor is packed full of boats from all over the world.  You can tell it's high season here.
Sweet Emily Tess, before she turned a little green on the Atlantic side.  Looking good here!  She can be a bow babe, or a stern sweetie.  She makes any boat look better :)  It was a gorgeous day here in paradise.
We cruised through Sister's Creek, saw two manatees, and then passed Sombrero Beach here in Marathon.
Since the wind was out of the S/SE today, it was getting a little kicked up on the Atlantic side.  We didn't make it out to the reef.
As soon as we turned under the Seven Mile Bridge, it flattened out on the Gulf side.
It was a gorgeous day to be out on the ocean.
