F R I E N D S :)

Nothing starts the day in paradise like a Cuban coffee and a guava pastele :)

It was divide and conquer with Ellie's help running errands.
I had to get my paperwork FedEx'd to China this morning,
then  it was off to get Grandma a new hairstyle.  While we
waited at the beauty shop, we got a new high score
in 94 seconds- top that, Frannie!

Look at that sassy new haircut!

The afternoon was spent at Banana Bay poolside.  Ellie was just chillin'
with the senior citizens, bahahaha!

Pop is no fool; he was the only rooster in the hen house!  Me, mom, Paps,
Cora, Fran, Lucille, Rita, Mamaw, Ellie, and Sandy had a rousing game of
chickenfoot all afternoon.  Lots of laughs all around- it's fun to have so
many friends get together.  We always have a good time :)

Rita and I- my little Swiss friend from Maryland :)

Frannie had the best time of all; she won Adolph- AGAIN!

Ellie met a new friend, Sophie from the Wanderer.

Donnie was asked to play at the MTOA party in the late
afternoon.  It was nearly a disaster when he opened his gig
bag and the head was broken clean off his guitar. Sad face.

Fortunately, he had another guitar over at Mom and Pop's place, so Ellie
saved the day and got it for him. The show must go on!  On short notice,
Dan and Penny and Larry joined in, too.  Bryan was in rehearsal for
an upcoming production at the local theatre.  The guy on the left
started off the evening on his own, then the others joined in.
Tonight they were "Four Sheets to the Wind and Peter".
Let's just leave it at that!  They sounded good :)

After the gig was over, we were invited to Mamaw and
Paps for a fish fry!  We feasted on mangrove snappers
and yellowtail.  nom. nom.

It was so good- we ate ourselves silly.  Dan and Penny joined us, too-
we had so many fish!  It was enjoyable sitting around the table
getting to know them better, too.  More friends.

And after dinner, we stopped in at Peter and Rita's
condo for a night cap and more funny stories.
Donnie loved the Hungarian sausage. More nom. nom.

A cold front came through in the evening, and brought
with it thunderstorms.  Willis was caught in the storm
in the mangroves while we were gone all evening.
We had a sad, wet, Willy when we finally got home.
Poor kid(den).  G'nite, y'all!
