Divin'

Isn't she a cute little scuba diver?!

I was not ready to hang a tank on my back and wear a BC on my sore ribs, so I
just bubble watched while Donnie and Ellie dove off Vaca Cut with Kenny today.
Donnie shot a hogfish for Fran. She will love him forever :)

And then he shot one for me.  I will love him forever, too :)

Lastly, he shot a pretty big lion fish.  He carefully cut off
the "mane" which is very poisonous, and then filleted it, too.
Fresh fish for lunch tomorrow!

Chuckie Baby and Big Ron came out to meet us; they had been doing some
fishing of their own.  They caught a few reef fish that had to be fed to the
pelicans, but otherwise, they did alright.  They buzzed over to us to find
out what all they had caught.

Though it was a bit cool on the ocean (breezy and 73), it would have
been a perfect day for sailing.  These folks were clearly cruisers, the
way their boat was outfitted.  Look at all that canvas flying :)

We got back in time from diving to take a quick hot tub before dinner at the
Sunset Grille.  Ray West's band was playing- that was a pleasant surprise!

While we listened to music, Ellie played corn
hole with our friends, the Murphy's from Jersey.

Sandy and One Gallon Don Murphy got photo bombed, lol.

It was a gorgeous sunset this evening.

Topped only by the musical genius of Ray White.  I haven't heard
a flute played like this since....I don't know when, Jethro Tull, maybe?!
Un-freakin' believable!

The mai tai was delicious; Mom sucked it down pretty good!

Nothing capped off a perfect day like coconut shrimp :)
Livin' the life in paradise- G'nite, y'all!
