any day on the water is a good day...

The Marquesa McDaniel B & B is opened for business yet again!  Breakfast was french toast made from french bread (so very French of me, oui?!) and sliced fresh oranges.  My hubby quickly disappeared to help big Mike launch his new sailboat.  She's a beauty!

John and Donnie held up Security John in the bosun's
chair...had a mishap with a halyard that had to be retrieved.
While the boys were rigging Big Mike's boat, Stephanie
caught some rays out on Paradise Pointe with Mayor Dan.
She caught a few too many rays, even with 50spf.
We had sandwiches and Momma K's homemade salsa
and chips for lunch.
After lunch Big Mike and Lovey took Donnie and
Stephanie out for a sailboat ride- isn't this boat sweet?!
Cap'n Donnie was in his element...giving Big Mike his first ever sailboat
lesson.  Though Big Mike is a pilot, he has never owned a sailboat.
He decided at 60 years old, he needed a new hobby.  How awesome is that?!
It's safe to say Steph is enjoying her first ever sailboat ride :)
(Can you say b**bs?!, lol)
Willis worked on his beauty sleep while they sailed.
Larry, the dockmaster at Banana Bay, organized a sunset cruise on the
big snorkeling boat from Captain Hook's.  It was an awesome boat ride.
Everybody brought snacks to share, and their own beverages.
Interesting that the Viagra bag ended up next to the Playmate, lol.
Ms. Biddi, me, and Stephanie, having a ball on the boat :)
We cruised through Boot Key Harbor to look at all the boats from all over the world.
Stephanie and I would like to buy this dream house, 1.7 million is all.
Our friends from Ohio, Max and Mandy :)
And our friends Steve and Linda- Steve visits my herb garden regularly :)
Some of these folks on their big fine boats have some
pretty fancy hors d'oeuvres with their cocktails.  We
hillbillies decided a hunk of colby cheese and some
Ritz crackers suits us just fine, lol :P
Me and my honey :)
sweetness...
The star of the night was the sunseet itself, but no green flash.
Marquesa and Biddi and the Beast looking out to the Gulf of Mexico.
We went to The Hurricane for Taco Tuesday with Mayor Dan, Biddi,
Matt & Karie, and us...can't beat $1.00 tacos and cheesy bacon fries.
It was a red letter day in paradise :)  G'nite y'all!
