Friends, food, sailing and sunsets

We are awakened each morning by a bed partner...Willis...coming in from his nightly prowl.  Generally he is sandwiched between Donnie and I, or he likes to spoon with Donnie.  Silly Willy.

Like father, like son...which one is more hairy?!

Don't know which one is happier; Willis being held by
his momma, or his momma holding Willis :)

We girls chilled by the pool this morning while the boys were
happily doing a "Fix It" boat project on Dan and Biddi's boat.

Sitting by the pool we saw this bird drinking the nectar from the
biggest bird of paradise flower I have ever seen- very cool!

Dan offered to take us out for lunch at the Hurricane to thank the boys
for their help.  Biddi was thrilled...their starboard stateroom window has
leaked for three years!  In front is Donnie and Dan, Biddi, Greg, Skeet, and Ellie.

Kenny and Fran joined us at the Hurricane, too, for their
$5.00 lunch special.  Kenny went from inpatient, to sad,
to angry...having to wait for for his jerk snapper sandwich :P

Ellie was lovin' the hot wings, but for every three wings she needed a Kleenax!

After lunch, we went on a beautiful sail on the Gulf.  Greg was amazed that
we were hardly ever in more than seven feet of water and we were at least
seven miles off shore!  Willis assumed his usual sailing position, hiding
under a pillow.  At least he didn't get sick today.
Maybe he is getting his sea paws afterall.

After Donnie grilled some brats with peppers and onions and we enjoyed
a picnic dinner, we were treated to a gorgeous sunset- and another green flash!
What a beautiful day in paradise!
