Are you kidding me?! The snow is supposed to start tonight and have 4-6 inches on the ground by tomorrow night. I am praying our 4am departure to the airport and 7am flight gets us out ahead of the mess! Ironically, we fly to Charleston via a layover in Miami. If the boat were in Miami we'd be just a day or two sail from Marathon, but we'd miss our big adventure going down the Intercoastal Waterway. So we are flying south, to fly back northeast, to sail down southwest- no problem :) I pray there are no flight delays or cancellations...what to do with a howling Willis if his agony is prolonged any further?!
On another note, Simon had his last
b-a-t-h today (you have to spell it out, because he KNOWS that word, and he hides in his bed when it's said). This was after a sad goodbye to sissy (Emily) as she also left for college today. He knows something's up, as he has been a trembling, stressed out mess all afternoon. He gets delivered to Grandma's tonight, and probably a few more tears will be shed by me again today... we're gonna miss our little buddy :'( time to go clean the fridge and mop the floors. We're all packed and ready to go :))) I pray there's no plane delays tomorrow.
