Things were looking a little dicey, and our plane was a tiny American Eagle. |
He was looking 'wild-eyed' all day, but never a howl- good kitty! |
At least he got out of his kitty carrier to stretch his legs a bit. Still wouldn't eat or drink, though. When we FINALLY boarded the plane, we sat on it for over an hour, because somebody, somewhere, could not count to 47! There were 47 passengers but 'operations' said we only had 45....it took over an hour on a hot plane for them to finally release us to take off. When we landed in Charleston, it was down to 38 degrees...no wonder Donnie is sick. He's already lost his voice.
This was taken of the console on our rental car, named 'the pickle' for it's lovely shade of green. If you notice there's a button on the lower right that says "cat folder". I didn't dare touch it, because after 12 hours of travel, no potty, no food, and no water, I hardly could bare folding the cat up- whatever that means!!!
After a delicious jerk chicken dinner prepared by Carissa, and seeing lovely pictures of her trip to Turkey, it was time for hot showers and bed. Tomorrow the mast goes up on Marquesa at 10am, and she may even get in the water, too. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well. G'nite :)
Goodnight, dear friend.
