This blog will chronicle a dream of ours that has been over 10 years in the making. Through the years we have studied, read, and spent thousands of hours on the waters at the helm from Prairie Creek Reservoir to Lake Michigan and Lake Erie, to the British Virgin Islands. 01/11/11 marks the beginning of our great adventure, taking Marquesa down the ICW, beginning in Charleston, SC, and ending in Marathon, FL for the winter. Make no mistake, Marathon will not be the end...only the beginning.

Willis is getting ready, too...
While Donnie and I were preoccupied with watching the Colts game, (we just scored!) Willis is preparing for his big plane ride on Tuesday by crawling in his cat carrier by his own big self :)
Just a word of caution..when we flew our two cats from Munich to MD, they had to be in a crate large enough for them to stand up and turn around....Willis is soo cute, but I don't think the carrier he is resting in will meet that standard...Best of luck to you and your Captain on your trip!

ReplyDeleteCheri, just an FYI, because the carrier is soft-sided, he actually could stand up and turn around. He did just fine; travelled like a pro!
