Playing catch up

For Brian and Wendy's last night, we treated them to lobster
on the grill.  It was Wendy's first lobster, and she loved it :)
It spite of it being cool all week, the two of them look
pretty lobster-fied themselves, lol.

After we said our goodbyes to our friends mid-morning on Friday, Cap'n and I got busy putting Marquesa back in order.  We rounded up three huge loads of laundry for me to do.  While I started laundry, Cap'n took our scuba tanks to be filled and made a stop at the bank.  We then decided to spend the afternoon at the pool in between changing the laundry.  It still was cool out, but it felt good to be lazy in the sun.  We both just kind of relished between reading our books, napping, and taking a hot tub. It was heavenly :)

We had our standing Friday Night Pizza Night with Paps and Mamaw, and
Kenny and Fran.  Fran took it to us all- there was no point in playing the
last hand, that's how badly she whooped on us!  Kenny has plans for
Adolph von Chickenfoot to go fishing on Monday- he's so excited!

Saturday morning Donnie went to rummage sales while I went shopping
for Ness' birthday, and for the grandkids Valentines.  We went to lunch
then stopped at Kenny and Fran's for a visit.  When we got back at about
3pm, Donnie practiced his guitar.  Dave came down and joined him in
working out the lyrics to Josh Turner's 'Be Your Man'.  It's sounding good!
Dave took our dinghy out for a spin.  Willis takes guarding the boat very
seriously.  He was keeping a close eye on Dave when we brought our
dinghy back.  He even growls like a dog.  When Dave stepped back on
to the dock, he bravely bolted for the mangroves. Such a brave puss.

I fixed pasta and salad for dinner, then Donnie went to practice with Brian, Dan and Penny.  They have their first gig of the season this next Saturday here at Paradise Pointe.  While he was gone, I finished tidying up the boat, putting the last of the laundry away, and then got myself psyc'd for a hot Saturday night at the Winn Dixie :)  Just livin' large on Marquesa!  G'nite, y'all!
