Cap'n finally got a day to fish, so Momma got to go to school-
She got another lesson on the internet, email, and now she is on Facebook.
She is celebrating here, as she found a good friend from 40+ years ago, Yay! |
|
After a rousing game of Five Crowns with Fran, Mac, Jean, Momma and me,
we had a dinghy ride and dinner date with Matt and Karie at Salty's by the
Seven Mile Bridge. Since our dink travels only slightly faster than the speed
of smell, we knew we were sure to catch a beautiful sunset. It was gorgeous.
|
Another view with a different setting on the camera. I thought for sure
we'd see the green flash; no haze, flat calm, bright sun, but no dice :( |
|
|
There's our boat buddies, Matt and Karie...we just love these two :) |
|
This fella was directing us into the harbor at Salty's. Truth be told, he was
looking for his dinner in the bait basket he was standing on.
He must have been a lazy old cuss. |
|
Me and my momma, isn't she beautiful? |
|
Mom and I had a huge bassket of chicken nachos, but Matt & Karie, and
Donnie absolutely loved their pizzas. They all agreed it is the best on the
island. In fact, Donnie loved it so, that he called Frannie to brag about it!
Another truth be told, the 'leftovers' became his second supper sans one slice :) |
Tomorrow the plan is to get Mom moved aboard Marquesa, for her last week here in the Keys. After that, Donnie is either going lobstering, or we're going for a sail...stay tuned to find out. G'nite y'all!
