Sailboats and kitty litter

This blog will chronicle a dream of ours that has been over 10 years in the making. Through the years we have studied, read, and spent thousands of hours on the waters at the helm from Prairie Creek Reservoir to Lake Michigan and Lake Erie, to the British Virgin Islands. 01/11/11 marks the beginning of our great adventure, taking Marquesa down the ICW, beginning in Charleston, SC, and ending in Marathon, FL for the winter. Make no mistake, Marathon will not be the end...only the beginning.

The cat is in the barn...

I repeat, the cat is in the barn..errrrr...ummmm....Willis is back on the boat. With a ball and chain on his hind leg. and a shock collar on his neck. where he will remain for the next 72 hours. it's an emergency detention hold. he will get food and water. and nothing else. definitely no lovin'. dern cat.
