After yesterday's thunderstorm, the wind has continued to blow out of the north at 15-20 knots all day. The Gulf is still kicked up pretty good. Today was errands and boat projects...and more talk of yesterday's events. Our dear friends, Greg and Wanetta, are flying in tomorrow, and Ellie flies in on Sunday! Looks like the winds are going to turn out of the south and bring warmer weather for them starting tomorrow. We had a delicious $5.00 lunch at the Hurricane, and spent part of the afternoon visiting with Fran and Kenny, and Lucille and Ken. In spite of having to wear my windsuit today, there's still no place I'd rather be :)
As a side note...Willis has taken to bravery, and goes tomcatting around late at night. He always is home before dawn, curled up in the bed between Donnie and I as if to say, "I made it before curfew, Mom & Dad". However, after a night of kitty escapades, this is what we get the following day...

...a so very tired Willis... |
Maybe he will bring a gift for you when he returns from his nightly escapades to show you how thankfull he is for allowing him out at night.
