Elle's last day :(

Last Friday, 3/16, was Elle's last day of vaca down here in paradise. After breakfast we made a Daffy's run, and loaded our cart with dollar goodies.  We hit up their deli for sandwiches for lunch- best deal on the island- and their subs put Subway to shame.  After lunch, she wanted to catch the most sun possible in the afternoon...

so we spent it at the pool... :)

Elle said goodbye to her other group of SB friends...this ridiculously
gorgeous and expensive fishing boat (with its triple 350's) was owned
and operated by a 17 year old kid- who invested wisely in Apple stock.
They were taking it back to his home in Sarasota, FL.  Wow.

Sassafras was not the least bit interested in a ride on his Go-Fast boat!

For her last dinner here in paradise, Donnie grilled T-bone steaks and
lobsters (which he caught!)  We enjoyed a fabulous meal in the cockpit...

and were treated to a beautiful sunset, in spite of the clouds.

This was our view of Pretty Joe Rock (the private island for rent) from
the bow of Marquesa.  The sky looked like a water color painting-
what an awesome God!

It was a VERY short night, all of 1 1/2  hours of sleep before our 3am departure for Ft. Lauderdale.  I sure hated to see my Ellie bug go back to Indiana :(   G'nite y'all!
